History: Longfellow Deeds holds a pizza in a small town. Associates of the deceased are terrified they may need to share power with stronger than them. They are quickly reassured by the good nature and the simplicity of their new boss. They are determined to repurchase the shares quickly done well and return it in its outback. Parallalèlement, the tabloids, in the person of the lovely Babe, wants to know everything heyne about this new billionaire and better approach, she pretends to be a "maiden in distress" ... the kind of chivalrous Deeds favorite!
My opinion: heyne Mièvre, too cutesy, dripping with good intentions, with Adam Sandler so nice that it seems downright fool. His game is flat, soft, and dull. Scenario seen and reviewed: nice redneck who inherits a huge fortune, is blouser by all the wicked city dwellers who want to recover the said property, and even of service that lies to him like the others, but falls in love. A walking cliché. Nothing to save. It's not funny, do not hang replicas. Yuck.
This is a remake of The extravagant Mr Deeds, Frank Capra, with Gary Cooper. Needless to say, I'm curious to see the original version! Gary Cooper instead of Adam Sandler, heyne just that, it gives already want!
