That I refused to do, arguing that the examples I use are relevant. The same journalist changed as tactics and said that "There is no point for us to press claims that have already been promoting many times." I assume that this means that Aftenposten in the future will reject all articles and posts about Islamophobia or xenophobia since most people have heard these arguments repeated hundreds of times before, manuscript if not more. For some reason I do not think this is going to happen.
Aftenposten asked me also to remove the reference to my forthcoming book The Curious Civilization because manuscript this could be seen as text ads. That said, I am willing to do. I admit that I had this in mind when I posted this reference. 30 July this year ran Aftenposten article "They are the third wave" where they harassed people as Bat Ye'or, Robert Spencer and myself. The illustrations in the printed version was particularly worrisome. You saw a picture of Bat Ye'or and on the next page a photo of the convicted Nazi treason shoulder Vidkun Quisling. It is very rough, especially considering manuscript that the Nazis were to blame for the genocide of some six million Jews and that Bat Ye'or is Jewish.
